Role Description
The VP - Software AI Engineer will lead the development and optimization of ETHIS’s AI-driven systems while ensuring alignment with ethical standards. This individual will oversee technical strategy, manage high-level AI application designs, and collaborate with cross-sector stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers, developing scalable solutions, incorporating state-of-the-art AI algorithms, and ensuring ongoing system reliability and innovation. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision
- Experience with AI ethics, responsible AI systems, and bias mitigation
- Skilled in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI development tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Background in software engineering, including algorithm development and systems architecture
- Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration across business, academia, and government sectors
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields is preferred
