Location: 2 Months Remote | 4 Months Pakistan (Lahore/Hybrid) | Relocation to UAE

We have an MVP that validates our concept, but now we are looking for a Founding CTO to build the rocket — a scalable, high-performance “super app” capable of millions of concurrent users, real-time tracking, and geo-intelligent systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Architect and lead a mission-critical, distributed backend for a global-scale platform.
- Build real-time data pipelines, event-driven systems, and notification engines.
- Lead geo-intelligence architecture including spatial indexing, dynamic geo-fencing, and proximity queries.
- Implement Zero-Trust security, encryption, and privacy-first systems.
- Recruit and mentor the founding engineering team.
- Define the technology roadmap, stack, and global scaling strategy.
Required Expertise
- High-Concurrency Systems: Millions of users, sub-second responses.
- Distributed Architecture: Microservices, event-driven systems, multi-region scaling.
- Geospatial & Real-Time: PostGIS, Redis-Geo, H3/S2 indexing, real-time tracking, geo-fencing.
- Backend Languages: Go, Rust, Node.js.
- Security & Privacy: TLS/SSL, AES-256, JWT, Zero-Trust architecture.
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, observability.
- Optional: AI/Automation for real-time classification, alerts, or recommendations.

- Proven ability to scale distributed systems and lead elite engineering teams.
