Job Opportunity: Investing CTO
Looking for an Investing CTO to build India’s next big professional connectivity platform with me.
GrowthYari – a hybrid (online + offline) ecosystem making real professional conversations accessible for India’s builders, students, and professionals. Think “LinkedIn + YC + real 1:1 live conversations” for India’s ambition.
Now I’m looking for a hands-on technical co‑founder/CTO who is ready to own the entire tech stack and code the platform end‑to‑end.
What We’re Building
- YariConnect – 1:1 live video professional connectivity
- Instant Connect – Omegle‑style, intent‑based matching for founders, students & professionals
- Events + cohorts – to convert online conversations into offline relationships
- A trust‑layer for India’s relationship‑driven economy (careers, co‑founders, hiring, opportunities)
Early community and demand are clear. Now it’s time to turn this into a product that can scale.
Who You Are (Ideal Profile)
- Strong full‑stack engineer (can ship v1 solo and then build a team)
- Comfortable with modern web stack (for example: React/Next.js + Node/Nest/Django + Postgres) and video/real‑time integrations
- Can architect a scalable, modular platform (auth, profiles, matching engine, real‑time 1:1, events, payments)
- Bias to ship fast, iterate, and learn from users—not over‑optimize for perfection
- Founder‑mindset: ownership, hunger, and comfort with ambiguity
- Bonus: experience in any of – social products, marketplaces, matching/recommendation systems, ed‑tech, or B2C/B2B SaaS
What You’ll Do
- Own the complete tech vision and engineering roadmap for GrowthYari
- Architect and build v1/v2 of YariConnect & Instant Connect from scratch
- Implement matching logic, live video flows, profiles, events, and basic analytics
- Work directly with users, iterate fast based on feedback, and influence product decisions
- Later: hire and lead the engineering team, set up best practices, and drive tech culture
