Accountabilities:
- Establish and lead the Platform Engineering function, integrating SRE and DevOps capabilities across multiple teams.
- Hire, mentor, and grow a team of Platform Engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence, autonomy, and continuous learning.
- Define and implement standardized CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release orchestration patterns for SaaS applications.
- Partner with architecture and security teams to translate cloud strategy into platform capabilities while embedding secure-by-design practices.
- Implement SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, telemetry, observability dashboards, and incident response processes.
- Drive continuous improvement through resilience engineering, post-incident reviews, and operational process enhancements.
- Contribute hands-on to engineering initiatives, automation, and critical technical problem-solving as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps teams in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and governance using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), PaaS services, infrastructure automation, and modern deployment practices.
- Solid understanding of observability, telemetry, incident response, resilience engineering, and SRE principles.
- Proficiency in at least one enterprise programming language (C#, Java, Python) with the ability to contribute directly when needed.
- Familiarity with secure-by-design engineering practices and embedding security controls in cloud and platform workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to influence architecture, product, and executive stakeholders.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Generous paid time off and holiday benefits.
- 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
- Professional development opportunities and ongoing training.
- Flexible work environment supporting remote collaboration and on-site team interactions.
- Involvement in strategic, high-impact projects shaping the future of platform engineering.
