The director of engineering – Warehousing & Fulfillment will lead engineering initiatives across supply chain warehousing and fulfillment systems. This role will also oversee the Business Process Management (BPM) team, which supports sourcing and finance use cases leveraging Pega. A critical responsibility includes driving the development and implementation of SCEP, a unified data store/data lake serving as the common data foundation for all supply chain applications.
As a director of engineering, you will…
- Lead engineering strategy and execution for warehousing and fulfillment platforms.
- Manage and mentor the BPM team to deliver sourcing, sustainability, and finance workflows using Pega.
- Drive architecture and development of Supply Chain Enablement Platform (SCEP), ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability across supply chain systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Warehousing, Logistics, Finance, Sourcing, & Data Engineering) to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Establish best practices for system integration, data governance, and performance optimization.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Proven track record in warehousing/fulfillment, or supply chain technology.
- 10+ years in software engineering with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and API integration.
