Soaring designs and manufactures heavy lift, Autonomous Unmanned Aircraft systems (UAS). Built for the battlefield and engineered with proprietary autonomous flight and payload technology, our platforms are capable of performing a multi use missions. Soaring is a Caltech spin-off founded in 2020, by Dr. Mory Gharib, the Hans W. Liepmann Professor of Aeronautics and Medical Engineering. Mr. Daniel Trunfio, Soaring's CEO, is a proven International C-Level executive experienced in building, scaling and operating businesses worldwide. The company is currently focused on delivering its patented UAS platform to the United States Military Developed in close collaboration with active-duty personnel, Soaring UAS's are field-hardened, modular, and mission-adaptable, operating in contested environments where manned systems are vulnerable or impractical. From supporting warfighters in the most challenging theaters to aiding in critical public safety missions, our drones are at the forefront of delivering where traditional methods fall short.
