Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s long-term technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Architect and oversee development of secure, scalable blockchain-based platforms and financial systems
- Lead engineering teams across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and smart contract development
- Establish best practices in system architecture, DevOps, cybersecurity, and data protection
- Drive innovation in areas such as DeFi protocols, custody solutions, and digital asset trading systems
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, and compliance teams
- Ensure platform reliability, uptime, and performance at institutional-grade standards
- Build and mentor a world-class distributed engineering team
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent)
- Strong expertise in blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions, smart contracts)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cryptography, and financial infrastructure
- Experience in crypto exchanges, wallets, custody, or DeFi platforms strongly preferred
- Proven track record of scaling engineering teams in startup or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in digital assets (e.g., AML, KYC frameworks)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with institutional investors or financial services firms
- Background in high-frequency trading systems or large-scale fintech platforms
- Open-source contributions or strong presence in the blockchain developer community
