Senior Manager - Software Development Engineer

Position Summary:

As a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineer, you will lead & manage a team of mobile software engineers by helping them to prioritize, build and ship the most impactful features to our clinical teams and patients. You will define/refine processes to improve developer productivity and build your high performing team through hiring, coaching & mentoring. You will also collaborate with leaders from Product, UX and implementation teams on product delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering in Swift, Kotlin or Java
• 5+ experience working in an Agile/Devops environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JVM-based technologies, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, OpenAPI. etc.
• Experience with Flutter for building cross-platform mobile applications
• Familiarity with functional and/or reactive programming concepts
• Results oriented leader with experience in leading & managing an engineering team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to clearly articulate technical challenges to business stakeholders
• Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based environment either in Azure/AWS using Docker/Kubernetes

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
