High-Level Job Description
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
- Own engineering delivery, code quality, and timelines
- Collaborate closely with Product and Business stakeholders
- Drive scalable architecture, best practices, and team performance
- Ensure reliable releases and continuous improvement
Qualification and Skill Sets
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with at least 1 year in a team leadership or engineering management role
- Strong foundation in backend, frontend, and cloud technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python, React/Vue/Nuxt, AWS/GCP, SQL/NoSQL)
- Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex software products
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile methodologies and modern engineering workflows (CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing)
- Experience with SaaS platforms, e-commerce tooling, or no-code platforms
- Prior work experience in a fast-growing startup environment
- Familiarity with performance, security, and scalability best practices
Salary and Benefits
