Role Summary
We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect, build, and scale Apna Family’s end-to-end technology platform. This role owns technology vision, architecture, execution, and scale, from MVP to a secure, production-grade, national platform. This is a Founder-Operator opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who wants ownership, long-term equity, and real social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Architecture & Tech Strategy: Define and own end-to-end architecture (Web, Mobile Apps, Backend, APIs). Design scalable systems for caregiving, bookings, medical intake, payments, and partner integrations. Establish technology standards, security policies, and performance benchmarks.
- MVP Build → Scalable Platform: Lead the build of the MVP and evolve it into a high-availability, production-ready platform. Drive rapid iteration, stability, and scalability as user adoption grows. Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented codebases.
- Engineering Leadership & Execution: Build and lead engineering teams (in-house + vendors). Manage developers, technology partners, and external agencies. Own sprint planning, delivery timelines, and engineering quality.
- Security, Privacy & Reliability: Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and system reliability—especially for medical and elder data. Implement monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and uptime SLAs. Establish secure access, consent, and audit mechanisms.
- Business Alignment & Operations Enablement: Align the technology roadmap with business strategy, care operations, and on-ground execution. Translate real operational problems into simple, scalable tech solutions. Enable dashboards, reporting, and insights for leadership decision-making.

Required Qualifications
- 8–15+ years in product and technology leadership roles
- Purely technical background with deep expertise in mobile and web application development
- Strong experience with backend systems, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience building consumer apps, marketplaces, or health-tech platforms
- Mobile-first mindset (Android / iOS)
- Proven 0→1 and scale-up startup experience preferred
- Tier-1 college background preferred
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder communication skills
- Emotionally aligned with elder care, trust-based services, and social impact
Founder / Investor-Operator Preference (Optional)
- Willingness to invest capital (strategic or financial) into the platform
- “Skin-in-the-game” mindset to accelerate execution and ownership
Equity & Upside
- 10% co-founder equity, structured with vesting and milestones
- Salary to commence post seed-funding closure
