What you’ll do

• Lead the Engineering Team:
• Develop, recruit, and inspire top engineering talent aligned with HqO’s culture– people who want to win the race, will thrive here.
• Use KPIs to measure velocity and quality.
• Grow a powerhouse team of Tech Leads and Managers.
• Drive Engineering Excellence:
• Maintain a deep knowledge of Commercial Real Estate. We are building the platform that operators and occupiers can’t live without, so expect and strive for our software engineers to be just as close to our market and customers as any other part of the company.
• Intensively iterate our SDLC to meet the demands of the world’s best operators and occupiers.
• Lead the architecture and delivery of our cutting-edge platform, balancing speed, scalability, and quality.
• Own software release processes. Ownership is one of our core values and with feature-dense web and mobile platforms, reliable delivery of quality is paramount. Ensure release optimization to drive business outcomes.
• Foster Technical Innovation:
• Push boundaries to enhance platform performance, reliability, and user experience, taking deep pride in how the team leads the industry in app performance metrics.
• Lead technical road mapping alongside the CTO, ensuring our technology remains an industry leader.
• Promote best practices in design, testing, and system architecture.
