As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for the overall technical direction and strategy of a software house in Karachi. Your expertise in software development, technology trends, and leadership will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the company's technological success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Define and implement the company's technology vision and strategy.
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of software products and platforms.
    • Ensure alignment between technology strategy and business objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage the software development team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
    • Ensure the team has the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality software.
  • Product Development:
    • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and maintenance.
    • Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and specifications.
    • Ensure the quality and performance of software products.
  • Technology Infrastructure:
    • Design and implement the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
    • Manage IT budgets and resources.
    • Ensure the security and reliability of the company's IT systems.
  • Innovation:
    • Identify and explore new technologies and opportunities for innovation.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the organization.
    • Collaborate with research and development teams to develop new products and services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 10 years as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within a software development organization.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in building and scaling software development teams.
