VP Engineering required by food tech start up, with diverse product traction and an exciting enterprise client base. They’re leading the charge to remove food waste, revolutionize the food transportation supply chain and provide innovative ML, Computer Vision and robotics solutions, that are creating game changing value for the quick service restaurant world.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll shape both the technical and product direction of the business. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, empowering a 12-person engineering team while owning the end-to-end engineering vision - from architecture through to ML innovation.

What You’ll Do
- Own and drive the engineering vision and roadmap across software, ML, CV and Robotics
- Act as a key voice in shaping product direction, influencing high-impact decisions
- Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure strong alignment between engineering, product, and customer outcomes
- Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, reliable systems
- Define and execute ML strategy, enabling intelligent, data-driven decision making
- Establish best practices across architecture, development, and deployment in a fast-paced environment
- Act as a thought leader in AI-driven supply chain innovation, both internally and externally
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success as a VP, CTO or Head of Engineering in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong track record of building and scaling software platforms and ML and CV driven products
- Product-minded leader who can connect engineering decisions to commercial outcomes
- Experience across AI/ML, data platforms, or supply chain/logistics tech (FoodTech a plus)
- A hands-on leader who can inspire teams while staying close to technology
