We’re hiring an Engineering Manager (Hands-On) in Atlanta, GA.
This is not a pure management role. We’re looking for a technical leader who still codes, owns architecture, and can lead a team through execution. If you prefer to operate at a high level and stay out of the code, this won’t be the right fit.
At Togetherwork, we build mission-critical software and financial solutions that power communities across associations, gyms, camps, and more. This role will directly impact how those platforms evolve and scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and developing a team of engineers
- Owning technical design and architectural decisions
- Partnering with Product to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Contributing directly to code (primarily in .NET)
- Designing and optimizing SQL Server databases
- Modernizing legacy systems while helping build new applications
What we’re looking for:
- Strong, hands-on experience with .NET (this is core)
- Deep experience with SQL Server and data design
- Proven engineering leadership experience (not a first-time manager)
- Ability to operate as both a technical leader and people leader
- Comfortable working across legacy and modern environments
Nice to have: AWS, React, experience modernizing legacy applications
