PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Assistant Chief Engineer

REPORTS TO:
Director of Engineering
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Engineering department.
- Manage department scheduling, as well as PTO and other time off requests.
- Prioritize issues and assign work orders accordingly.
- Oversee the Engineering team to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Enforce company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage the guest room and back of house preventative maintenance programs.
- Provide training and leadership to the Engineering staff, leading by example.
- Act as the Director of Engineering as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High level of knowledge in MEP and related systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing Fire and Life Safety systems.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible schedule available, with the understanding that this position is on-call 24/7.
