About the Role:

The Director of Engineering will lead and oversee the entire engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles with at least 5 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture, and modern engineering practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a technical discipline or business administration.
  • Experience in scaling engineering organizations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
  • Background in the specific industry relevant to the company’s products or services.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable software and hardware solutions.
  • Define and implement engineering best practices, standards, and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan engineering projects.
  • Drive technical strategy and innovation to support current and future business needs.
  • Monitor and report on engineering performance metrics, resource allocation, and project progress to senior leadership.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent to build a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and risk assessments related to engineering projects.
