Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Job Summary
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology vision, strategy, and innovation initiatives. As a senior executive, the CTO leads the development and implementation of technology solutions that support business growth, operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s overall technology strategy and long-term roadmap
- Lead software engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations
- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives across the organization
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve business performance
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with corporate goals
- Oversee system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering and technology teams
- Support product development and technology-driven business initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 10–15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- Strong expertise in software development, cloud computing, and enterprise technology systems
- Proven experience leading large-scale technology projects and teams
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Experience with AI/ML, cybersecurity, SaaS platforms, or digital transformation initiatives
- Industry expertise in technology, finance, healthcare, or energy sectors
