About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineering Manager, PLG will lead the Product-Led Growth team responsible for enhancing customer activation, engagement, and expansion across the travel marketplace platform. The role focuses on managing the in-product growth funnel from signup through repeat usage, impacting customer retention and revenue. The position emphasizes rapid development, continuous improvement, and data-driven experimentation to increase product adoption and value delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on technical excellence and accountability.
- Manage the full engineering project lifecycle using AI-driven practices to improve quality and speed.
- Enhance team productivity through agile methodologies, automation, and workflow optimization.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between engineering and other departments.
- Foster a customer-focused engineering culture by developing scalable, data-driven solutions that support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years engineering experience, including 5 years in management.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on high-velocity results and performance culture.
- Technical proficiency in Node.js, Ruby on Rails, React, AWS (Lambda/Terraform), and Datadog.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies.
- Strategic, results-driven mindset with adaptability and continuous improvement focus.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Base pay range: $155,000—$215,000 USD.
- Total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay.
- Compensation is based on experience, expertise, and location.
