About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineering Manager will lead the engineering teams responsible for key products that enhance creative production workflows. This role focuses on improving team performance through agile practices, shaping product roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional partners, and fostering an inclusive team culture. The position is pivotal in driving engineering excellence and delivering impactful tools that support creative professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop engineering teams focused on SyncSketch and SpeedTree
- Enhance team efficiency and predictability by refining agile practices and processes
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Solutions Architects, Customer Success, and customers to align roadmap priorities with market needs
- Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving team environment
- Promote engineering best practices to improve product quality, reliability, and developer productivity
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams and delivering impactful products
- Familiarity with film or VFX industry workflows, tools, and production environments
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS products and associated operational challenges
- Demonstrated success in improving team effectiveness through agile methodologies
- Strong commitment to people leadership, including coaching and mentoring
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Gross pay salary $135,800—$187,094 USD
