About the Opportunity:
This organization is a global data and technology company that powers opportunities for people and businesses worldwide. The role involves leading software engineering and QA teams to develop solutions and architectures for high-volume, high-transaction applications within the Employer Services division. The position requires hands-on leadership, coding, security evaluation, Agile mentorship, SCRUM team planning, and collaboration to ensure high-quality software delivery. This is a fully remote role reporting to the Director of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily project progress and main activities
- Collaborate with engineering, UI/UX, and QA teams to meet deliverables and milestones
- Partner with product, design, and engineering to manage a multi-year development roadmap
- Analyze requirements and coordinate with product and engineering to deliver changes
- Manage and assign tasks to engineering and technical staff
- Oversee project logistics and resource allocation
- Improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs
- Lead teams through Agile SCRUM processes
- Promote DevOps culture and coordinate with IT
- Participate in on-call rotation for platform emergencies
- Oversee product deployment activities
- Plan team capacity and form SCRUM teams
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics
- Provide regular updates to leadership on sprint progress
- Work with Product Owners to ensure development output meets requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 15+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of professional management experience
- 8+ years of Microsoft .NET development and architecture experience
- Experience with Azure Cloud Solutions (IaaS, SaaS)
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and DotNet Core
- Experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design
- Experience with ETL technologies such as SSIS, ADF, Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS
- Experience with Agile software methodologies
Preferred Experience:
- API development and integrations
- Latest architectural patterns and cloud native development
- Microservices, container development, and integrations
- Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM

Compensation:
- Salary range: $133,109 to $239,596
