About the Opportunity:

The organization specializes in cybersecurity and operates a large-scale distributed system processing trillions of events daily. This opportunity is for a hands-on QA leader to ensure quality across all sensor releases, focusing on validating compatibility in customer environments and end-to-end scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality engineering strategies to validate products in real-world customer environments.
  • Oversee comprehensive testing across features, operating systems, and prevalent third-party applications.
  • Build and manage test frameworks and methodologies for robust end-to-end validation of OS/kernel interactions, front-end interfaces, backend services, hardware, and application compatibility.
  • Oversee performance and longevity testing to ensure minimal system overhead and stable long-term endpoint operation.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts by leveraging endpoint telemetry and integrating feedback for continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, customer support, and operations, to inform testing strategies.
  • Define and track quality KPIs, focusing on customer-found defects, test coverage, and release quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing quality engineering team.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in quality engineering, including at least 10 years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end quality assurance strategies, including OS/kernel, UI, and cloud service validation.
  • Experience building and implementing test frameworks across backend and front-end environments.
  • Proficiency in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating customer-reported issues into test cycles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, security testing, and complex distributed systems is highly preferred.
