One of our clients is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to join the Partner Loyalty team within the Ventures department. This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering a global loyalty proposition and consolidating existing systems into a unified, scalable platform. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team responsible for building and scaling partner-funded loyalty initiatives that reward customer engagement across multiple markets.

Your Role
As Technology Manager, you will oversee web, backend, and mobile engineers delivering loyalty solutions at scale. You will partner closely with Product and Delivery teams to define roadmaps, ensure technical feasibility, and maintain high engineering standards. This role combines people leadership, architectural ownership, and large-scale delivery management.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture

Architecture & Technical Direction
- Own architectural decisions for .NET components
- Ensure scalability, stability, and adherence to engineering best practices
- Guide distributed backend system design
Platform Consolidation & Scalability
- Drive simplification of existing systems into a unified global platform
- Build foundations for rapid international expansion
- Reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency
Delivery & Roadmap Execution
- Partner with Product and Delivery Managers to shape and execute the roadmap
- Lead end-to-end delivery of loyalty initiatives (starting with UK launch and global rollouts)
- Ensure high standards of testing, cloud infrastructure, and reliability
Cloud & Infrastructure Excellence
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient
- Promote cloud-native best practices
- Maintain operational reliability and performance
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external loyalty partners
- Communicate technical constraints and opportunities clearly
- Simplify complexity for business stakeholders
Your Profile
- Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong technical background in .NET and distributed backend systems
- Experience with cloud platforms and scalable infrastructure
