We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Software Development Manager to join our team and lead our software development initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software developers to deliver high-quality applications and features.
- Coordinate and oversee the development lifecycle from design to deployment, ensuring that all deadlines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define project requirements and ensure alignment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
- Review and approve code, ensuring it meets best practices for performance, maintainability, and security.
- Monitor team progress, identify risks, and proactively address potential obstacles.
- Help implement Agile methodologies to improve project delivery and efficiency.
- Ensure high standards of software quality through effective use of testing, code reviews, and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in software development or related roles, including internships or project leadership.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of software development practices and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a development team.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development tools.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and provide guidance to the team.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while managing multiple projects.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
