🚀 Founding CTO / Co-Founder (AI & Sustainability)

Stage: Pre-seed | Founding role

Ozyntel is building a trusted human‑AI intelligence platform to help mission‑driven organisations make better, positively impactful decisions on complex sustainability, climate and transformation challenges. We exist to close the infrastructure and resourcing gap between those accelerating extraction and division, and those fighting for regeneration and justice. We build human–AI partnerships for organisations who carry real responsibility for people and planet - helping them cleave through complexity, and act with poise and confidence.

We’re looking for a Founding CTO / Co-Founder to own the technical vision and execution of the platform from day one.

What you'll do:

Own the end-to-end technical architecture of an AI-driven decision support platform
Design and build early product versions (MVP → scalable foundation)
Lead development of a modern, reliable web application
Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
Design data pipelines, retrieval systems, and LLM integrations
Set up evaluation, transparency, and verification mechanisms
Establish security, privacy, and EU-aligned data practices
Hire, mentor, and lead a small engineering team as we grow
Work closely with the other founders on product, strategy, and roadmap

This is a hands-on builder role.

What we're looking for:

Strong engineering fundamentals and experience building data- or AI-driven products
Experience making architectural decisions in early-stage or ambiguous environments
Comfort working closely with non-technical stakeholders and real users
Pragmatic mindset: you ship, iterate, and improve
Interest in responsible, trustworthy, human-centred AI
Prior startup or founding experience is a strong plus, but not required.

With our unique action research approach, we co-discover, design and implement intelligence solutions, strategizing and guiding therapeutic transformations at team, organisational, and societal levels. Our emerging Intelligence Platform, Action Research & Organisational Transformation practice work together: diagnostics, decision tools, and embedded guidance that help leaders navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder transformations for people and planet.
