Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead cross-functional teams delivering high-availability, low-latency, and scalable platforms. This role requires strong people leadership combined with hands-on technical guidance in cloud-native and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor backend (Java), frontend, mobile, and QA teams
- Drive delivery of scalable, reliable, and zero-downtime systems
- Oversee architecture decisions and platform integrations
- Lead Agile delivery, incident management, and release planning
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and engineering standards
- Promote DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in team leadership
- Strong expertise in Java, AWS, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with distributed systems, SQL databases, and event-driven architectures
- Proven experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with system-scaling experience
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations is a plus
