The Director of Engineering

Description
In this role you will report directly into Senior Leadership and will be responsible for:
- Defining and executing the engineering strategy aligned with company objectives
- Leading the design, development, and integration of complex technical systems
- Establishing engineering processes, standards, and best practices
- Managing technical risk, system performance, and delivery timelines
- Building, mentoring, and scaling a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Partnering with Operations, Product, and Leadership on execution and delivery
- Supporting customer, partner, and stakeholder technical engagements
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of engineering experience in advanced hardware, energy, and/or nuclear environments
- Demonstrated experience leading and scaling engineering teams
- Background in delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary systems
- Strong systems‑level thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Experience operating in fast‑paced or high‑growth environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences
