This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Sunray Group of Companies. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Job Responsibilities
Manages all engineering/maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation. Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements. Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel engineering leadership position
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major engineering experience
- Resourceful at troubleshooting
- Computer/Office skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts – am, pm, weekends, and holidays as required
$100,000 - $120,000 annually
