We are a luxury perfume producer, and we’re on a mission to build the world’s first fully automated, AI-driven perfume factory, from fragrance formulation to finished bottle, powered by code and robotics.
We’re looking for a Founding Chief Technology Officer to architect and execute this groundbreaking vision. This is not just another tech leadership role. This is a chance to build a new industry.
The Vision
A fully automated Perfume production factory
Your Mission
As our CTO, you will:
- Design and build the entire automated production line from the ground up.
- Integrate AI formulation engines with industrial liquid-handling robotics (Hamilton, Tecan).
- Architect the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and plant-wide IoT sensor network.
- Assemble and lead a world-class engineering team across software, hardware, and automation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, IFRA, and safety standards from day one.
- Turn a radical vision into a operational, scalable reality.
Qualities
- You have 10+ years in engineering leadership, with deep experience in industrial automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
- You’ve integrated complex hardware/software systems, ideally in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, or automotive.
- You have hands-on experience with liquid handling systems, MES/SCADA, and precision automation.
- You understand GMP environments and how to build within regulated industries.
- You’re a builder, a systems thinker, and a leader who can inspire teams through ambiguity.
- You’re excited by the idea of creating something that doesn’t yet exist.
Tech Stack & Systems
- Automation: Industrial robots (FANUC/ABB), liquid handlers (Hamilton/Tecan), PLC systems.
- Software: Custom MES, AI/ML pipeline (PyTorch/TensorFlow), real-time monitoring.
- Infrastructure: IoT networks, GC-MS integration, cloud/on-prem hybrid architecture.
- Compliance: GMP, ISO standards, FDA/EU cosmetic regulations.
Location & Setup
NIGERIA.
Flexible initial phase with travel; relocation support provided.
Greenfield facility on 30+ hectares, you’ll help design it.
Compensation & Equity
Base Salary: To be negotiated
Meaningful Equity: 4% – 7% (Founding team-level ownership)
Performance Bonus: Up to 10%
Relocation & Setup: Fully covered
