THE WORK
We are seeking a Manager to lead a Ground Software & SW Infrastructure Agile Product team supporting multiple OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) programs. Must have an active secret clearance, location is either Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO.
In This Position You Will
- Be a part of the Missile Warning and NGG Ground OPIR programs. We will be providing next generation ground systems - open architecture/open framework systems that will provide the customer with the flexibility to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
- Lead a SAFE Agile Product team of 15-20 individual contributors in support of product team execution whose primary focus is on the design, development, and testing of a combined hardware/software solution for operational delivery.
- Assist the existing leadership team with vetting, hiring, staffing and building strong teams.
The successful candidate will be a passionate leader, someone who loves a challenge and always rises to the occasion to ensure success of those around them. They embrace modern development practices and insist that others do as well. They will be a self-starting leader, adapting to new tools/processes and will be eager to introduce automation when necessary. They communicate well and enjoy working with others in a collaborative environment.
This is a SR CAREER (level 5) ROLE where candidates typically require 8+ years of experience and a BS degree.
