Job Title
Genesis10 is seeking an AI Software Engineering Manager. This is a direct hire role, with an eCommerce company, hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office) in Milwaukee, WI. Annual pay range: $160K-$200K.
Must Haves
- Experience building AI tools - building things with AI components.
- Working with teams to bring AI products to market that affect/change the business.
- Working with the business on specific initiatives.
- Growing, transforming and developing teams, consistently meeting with them, and developing people.
Responsibilities
- Internal customer applications; product-focused, solving business problems and driving efficiency through AI.
- Build, grow, and lead a team of technology and engineering professionals.
- Deliver software programs on-time and on-budget with high quality.
- Understand the business environment and align project goals and team to deliver on business outcomes.
- Prioritize efforts to reduce operational load, merge, and eliminate projects that do not align with business goals, and align team around skill/focus areas for productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of IT and Software Engineering work experience including software design and development
- 5+ years of experience leading technical professionals and software development teams
- Experience leading in a large technology platform and/or large organization
- Experience with software and database concepts
- Strong technical experience in .NET, Web, and Mobile development as well as object-oriented design and coding skills (C++ and /or Java)
- Candidate must have some AI experience-ideally in using AI to improve internal apps and decision-making.
- AWS, PostgreSQL, C#, VB6, React
