About the Role
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, owning the end-to-end technology strategy across the company’s digital platforms, data initiatives, infrastructure, and innovation roadmap.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary technology leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands the intersection of technology and consumer engagement, and can scale platforms to support growth across digital, content, and interactive experiences.
This individual will drive product innovation, technical excellence, operational reliability, and a culture of engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a forward-thinking technology strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Lead engineering, product technology, infrastructure, data, and security functions
- Oversee architecture design and roadmap for scalable digital platforms and consumer experiences
- Drive innovation across streaming, content delivery, fan engagement, data platforms, and revenue-enablement technology
- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing engineering and technology teams
- Partner closely with Product, Digital, Commercial, and Executive leadership
- Ensure best-in-class cybersecurity, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Own vendor strategy and technology partnerships
- Implement processes that balance innovation, speed, quality, and reliability
- Champion a culture of technical excellence, experimentation, and continuous improvement
About You - Experience & Background
- 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- Proven success leading engineering or technology teams in high-growth environments
- Experience in media, digital platforms, streaming, sports, entertainment, gaming, or consumer technology strongly preferred
- Background in scaling cloud-based, data-driven, or consumer-facing platforms
- Track record implementing modern engineering practices and architectures
- Strong executive presence and credibility partnering with C-Suite stakeholders
- Passion for innovation, audience experience, and technology-led creativity
