We're working with Jabil on this exciting opportunity. Jabil is a leading product solutions provider looking for a Test Development Manager to drive transformative growth within their Enterprise and Intelligent Infrastructure division. This role involves innovative problem-solving in a large-scale software production environment.
The Role
- Lead and manage a team of software developers and product engineers supporting global cloud operations.
- Attract, hire, onboard, coach, and inspire your team to achieve best-in-class results.
- Define and oversee the end-to-end architecture, development, and deployment of production software applications.
- Serve as a key interface with internal engineering, manufacturing, quality teams, and external customers.
- Drive continuous improvement across key operational metrics and organizational goals.
- Provide technical direction on design and development activities for new equipment products and processes.
What You'll Need
- BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MS preferred.
- 10+ years of software development/test experience with enterprise server, storage, or networking products.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including leading remote and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and SDLC.
- Expertise in programming/scripting languages like Python and BASH; Java is a plus.
- Experience with Linux, container/virtualization environments (VMware, Docker), and large-scale distributed systems.
