The Role
- Lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and operating full-stack web applications processing millions of daily transactions.
- Establish a clear vision and drive urgency to deliver exceptional experiences for creators and viewers.
- Focus on team member development, identifying behaviors and impacts that foster career growth and build world-class engineering talent.
- Dissect complex trade-offs, making conscious architectural and product choices while overcoming technical and organizational challenges.
- Constructively analyze and reframe proposals to achieve better outcomes, adapting gracefully to changing priorities.
- Manage the Payments team, which is the financial backbone powering every transaction and monetisation product.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with web services, cloud infrastructure, and system design at scale.
- Proven ability to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
- Experience leading teams to design, implement, and operate consumer-facing applications with high reliability.
- Familiarity with payment systems, financial infrastructure, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
