As CTO, you will lead a high-performing software engineering team to bridge the gap between world-class curated content and generative search technologies. We are looking for a visionary leader who can navigate complex legacy systems while building scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS to redefine how global users interact with expert data.
The Role
- Lead the technological transformation from a traditional content provider into a cutting-edge platform powered by Generative AI and advanced search capabilities.
- Spearhead engineering strategy across a diverse estate, including AWS cloud infrastructure, Drupal CMS, and Salesforce CRM integration.
- Manage a multi-disciplinary software development team, fostering a culture of high availability, security, and rapid, predictable delivery.
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and Directors of Generative Search to align product roadmaps with commercial growth and superior user engagement.
- Oversee technical governance and vendor management to ensure third-party services meet rigorous scalability and performance standards.
What You'll Need
- Extensive leadership experience at a senior level (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Tech) within customer-facing digital content or data-heavy B2B environments.
- Strong technical background in cloud platforms (AWS), complex CMS architectures (Drupal), and Enterprise CRM (Salesforce) management.
- Proven track record of delivering AI-driven features or advanced search/discovery tools that significantly enhance the digital customer experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering challenges into strategic business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing tech debt and legacy systems while simultaneously migrating to modern, scalable microservices or AI-centric architectures.
