Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end technical direction for Growth Signals, encompassing application architecture, APIs, infrastructure, integrations, data platforms, and AI systems.
- Define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with enterprise customer requirements, security expectations, and company growth objectives.
- Lead the engineering and product organizations with clear ownership and accountability.
- Establish and maintain a disciplined engineering operating model covering planning, execution, testing, release management, and post‑deployment support.
- Make architectural decisions that ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability across distributed systems and multi‑tenant SaaS environments.
- Drive platform reliability and operational excellence, including observability, incident response, SLOs/SLAs, on‑call readiness, and post‑incident review processes.
- Own secure development standards and practices, including threat modeling, identity and access controls, data protection, dependency management, and API security.
- Lead enterprise security and compliance efforts, including SOC 2 readiness, audits, penetration testing, and customer security reviews.
- Partner closely with Product to evaluate technical feasibility, manage tradeoffs, and sequence delivery while controlling technical debt.
- Provide executive‑level technical leadership during complex enterprise deployments, escalations, and architecture reviews.
- Guide AI and automation initiatives (LLMs, GenAI workflows, agent frameworks) with an emphasis on reliability, evaluation, monitoring, and enterprise safety.
- Establish strong technical documentation, architectural decision records (ADRs), and knowledge‑sharing practices across teams.
- Serve as the executive technical authority for Growth Signals with customers, partners, auditors, and senior technical candidates.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in software engineering, with significant ownership of production systems at scale.
- 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, Director, or equivalent) with responsibility for architecture and delivery.
- Strong background designing and operating modern SaaS platforms, including APIs, distributed systems, and cloud‑native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience delivering secure, reliable software to enterprise customers with high availability and compliance expectations.
- Deep understanding of software delivery discipline, including CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and operational readiness.
- Strong security mindset with experience supporting audits, enterprise security diligence, and risk management.
- Ability to translate complex and ambiguous business needs into clear technical strategy and execution plans.
- Excellent communication skills with engineering teams, executive leadership, and enterprise stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling technology platforms and engineering organizations in enterprise or growth‑stage SaaS companies.
- Background supporting complex enterprise implementations in regulated or high‑trust environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and GenAI systems, including integration patterns, evaluation frameworks, and operational monitoring.
- Experience owning or leading SOC 2, ISO‑aligned controls, or similar compliance programs.
- Exposure to platform engineering, developer productivity tooling, or reliability engineering disciplines.
