- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience with Android application development.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build an effective and engaged team that feels supported by leadership and connected with each other.
- Partner with Product Management, UX Design, UX Research, and Program Management to plan, prioritize, and implement high impact projects for YouTube shorts.
- Develop a strong culture of engineering and data practices that allow us to make good decisions quickly in a rapidly-evolving business landscape.
- Mentor an amazing group of engineers to help them get to the next stage of their career trajectory.
- Define roadmap to adopt GenAI in building advanced features that inspire fun and high quality creation.
