CTO – AI Product Incubator
Hybrid 3x/week in New York City or London (Requires frequent travel to portcos in the US and Europe)
$300–350K base + up to 150% bonus + carry
FutureTech Recruitment is partnered with a global software investment firm ($100B+ AUM) launching an AI product incubator that conceives, builds, and ships enterprise AI products directly into portfolio companies serving millions of users.
This is not a consulting arm; it’s a hands-on AI product factory operating inside high-growth SaaS and services businesses, bringing real revenue and impact at scale. Each build runs as a 9-18-month sprint, transforming proven companies into AI-first leaders across fintech, healthcare, and legal tech.
About the Role
They’re hiring a CTO to build and lead this incubator’s technical organization from the ground up. You’ll define technical vision, hire elite engineers across London and New York, and architect the systems and frameworks that enable the team to ship multiple production AI products in parallel.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for a multi-product AI incubator model
- Build and lead a top-tier engineering team across London and New York
- Establish shared architecture patterns and infrastructure to support rapid AI product delivery
- Partner with portfolio company executives to deploy AI products directly into established SaaS and enterprise environments
- Ship production-grade AI/LLM products across multiple industries (fintech, healthcare, legal tech)
- Set technical standards, ensure platform security, and promote modern AI development best practices
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience as a full-stack or product-focused engineering leader
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams or product pods
- Proven track record shipping 0→1 products and production AI/LLM systems in the last 2–3 years
- Strong full-stack capabilities: backend (Python, FastAPI, .NET), frontend (React, TypeScript), and infrastructure (AWS)
- Experience building/scaling engineering orgs from early stage (0–20+ engineers)
- Comfortable engaging with both engineers and C-level execs across multiple companies
