About the Role:

Fetch is entering a pivotal phase where user growth is our company north star for 2026. We are hiring a Director to lead teams within our Growth pillar, responsible for driving long-term retention, engagement, and durable consumer growth at scale.

The Growth teams build the systems that power Fetch’s loyalty program and core engagement mechanics, including gaming systems, notifications, offer mechanics, and other retention-driving experiences. These platforms sit directly at the center of Fetch’s growth strategy and must support high-volume traffic, rapid experimentation, and continuous iteration.

As a Director in Growth, you will lead two teams (including managing another manager) responsible for delivering measurable growth outcomes. You will partner daily with Product, Growth Marketing, Data, and executive leadership to execute against ambitious company-level goals while ensuring long-term scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.

This is not a coding role, but strong technical depth is required to guide architecture and execution at scale.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Fetch (Role Responsibilities):

  • Lead, coach, and develop multiple teams of software engineers, including directly managing ICs and a manager
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support career growth for both engineers and managers
  • Own technical delivery for Growth initiatives, ensuring predictable execution and high-quality outcomes
  • Translate company-level growth goals into clear technical plans, milestones, and measurable results
  • Partner closely with Product and Growth Marketing to shape roadmaps and define success metrics
  • Represent Engineering in cross-functional and executive growth discussions
  • Guide system design, architecture, and technical decision-making across loyalty and engagement platforms
  • Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, observable, and resilient under high user volume
  • Balance rapid experimentation with long-term technical health and operational excellence
  • Improve team processes, reduce operational overhead, and drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, accountability, and measurable outcomes
  • Support engineers in using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to improve development velocity, documentation, and code quality
