Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The CTO will oversee the company's technology strategy, lead and manage software development teams, and drive product development initiatives. Responsibilities include formulating and implementing IT strategies, designing technical architectures, managing technology projects, and ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with organizational goals. The CTO will also mentor technical teams, ensure the adoption of best practices, and explore innovative technologies to strengthen the company's competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development and hands-on experience in building scalable technology solutions
- Strong expertise in Project Management, including team leadership and task prioritization
- Ability to conceptualize and implement effective IT Strategy and Architecture
- Experience in Product Development, from ideation to deployment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in emerging markets or multicultural environments is a plus
