As Easy Signs continues to scale, we’re introducing a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role to help drive what’s next. As part of our Executive Leadership Team, you’ll influence how technology, data and automation come together across customer experience, manufacturing and decision-making.
This role will suit a hands-on, commercially minded technology leader passionate about simplifying complex systems, clearing backlogs, and driving smart manufacturing and e-commerce innovation.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As CTO, you’ll own the end-to-end technology vision and execution across Easy Signs. Your focus will include:
- Setting and delivering a clear technology strategy and roadmap aligned to business growth
- Reducing software backlogs and improving delivery velocity and quality
- Designing and rolling out real-time dashboards and reporting to support data-driven decision making at Director and ELT level
- Partnering closely with our CMO and Creative Director to automate warehouse processes, optimise production flows, introduce new machinery and enhance customer-facing e-commerce platforms.
- Driving smart factory initiatives, including automation, systems integration and operational data capture
- Overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, system reliability and disaster recovery
- Advising on capital investment in automation, robotics, digital tools and emerging technologies
- Championing innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration across the business
What We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced technology leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations and innovation. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Senior leadership experience across software development, IT and operational technology
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Experience integrating systems such as MES, ERP, production and inventory platforms
- A proven ability to translate technical capability into commercial and operational outcomes
- Confidence engaging with Directors and ELT, communicating complex ideas clearly and pragmatically
- Experience overseeing customer-facing digital platforms, including e-commerce or complex online ordering systems
- A collaborative leadership style that builds high-performing, engaged teams
