Director of Engineering

Milwaukee, WI (Relocation Required, assistance available)

This is a leadership opportunity with our Client who is an established industrial technology company that is looking to elevate and scale its engineering organization. The team and products are in place, but the business is seeking a leader who can bring structure, accountability, and forward looking strategy to engineering execution.

This is not a passive leadership role. It requires someone who can step in, assess the current state, and drive meaningful improvement while maintaining strong technical credibility with the team.

What you will own

  • Engineering strategy and execution across electronics driven industrial products
  • End to end product development from concept through production and lifecycle support
  • Leadership of multi disciplinary teams including firmware, electrical, and mechanical engineering
  • Development and implementation of engineering processes, standards, and governance
  • Cost reduction, design for manufacturability, and alignment with operations and supply chain
  • Expansion and leadership of global engineering resources across multiple regions
