Position Summary
The CTO is responsible for Custimoo’s full technical strategy, platform architecture, engineering organization and technical delivery. The role combines long-term technology development with hands-on operational leadership of software engineering, infrastructure, security and data. You will work closely with the CEO and COO. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Custimoo’s digital platform as we continue to scale our global footprint. This position requires a leader who can balance stability, innovation, and delivery excellence while building a high-performing engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering organization and set the technical roadmap
- Own platform architecture, scalability, security and performance
- Drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation and quality standards
- Ensure high availability and stable platform operations
- Oversee data architecture, analytics capabilities and compliance (GDPR, ISO standards)
- Manage engineering budget, vendors and strategic technology decisions
- Build a strong engineering culture with focus on delivery, quality and innovation
- Collaborate with Product, Operations and Commercial teams to align tech with business goals
Qualifications
- Experience as CTO, VP Engineering or similar leadership role in a tech-driven company
- Strong background in software architecture, cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- Track record of scaling SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
- Proven record of leading offshore or nearshore developers
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for sports is a plus
