We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our Frontend and Backend development teams. This role requires a balance of technical depth, strategic thinking, and people leadership. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across product, data, and business functions to deliver reliable, high-performing systems that power advanced analytics and decision-making in the travel and airline industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of React and .NET developers.
- Drive technical excellence and best practices across frontend and backend domains.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Designers to align technology with business goals.
- Oversee architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance across all systems.
- Support sprint planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, automation, and adherence to agile methodologies.
- Partner with leadership to shape the product roadmap and define long-term technology strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical foundation in backend (.NET / C# / SQL Server) and frontend (React) development.
- Proven ability to manage distributed or hybrid engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience driving agile development practices and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work with big data, data analytics, or high-performance systems.
- Familiarity with data visualization frameworks (e.g., ECharts) and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud-based environments.
- Background in the airline or travel industry (highly valued).
- Understanding of Revenue Management systems or pricing optimization concepts.
- Experience leading projects involving AI integration or machine learning components.
