Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing high-value software deals. The ideal candidate has strong experience in software sales, client acquisition, and market expansion, with a proven ability to translate technical solutions into business value.

This role works closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to align client needs with scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline for software products/services
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets
  • Build long-term relationships with enterprise clients, startups, and strategic partners
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client business challenges and technical needs
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new software solutions
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy and market expansion
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure solution feasibility
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value propositions
  • Provide client feedback to product and delivery teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in HR systems, SaaS, or E-Commerce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development, digital solutions, or cloud technologies.
  • Proven track record of closing mid to large-scale B2B deals.
  • Experience selling to Egyptian enterprises; regional & GCC market.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems.
  • Very good in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is a MUST
