Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing high-value software deals. The ideal candidate has strong experience in software sales, client acquisition, and market expansion, with a proven ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
This role works closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to align client needs with scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline for software products/services
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
- Achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets
- Build long-term relationships with enterprise clients, startups, and strategic partners
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client business challenges and technical needs
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new software solutions
- Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy and market expansion
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure solution feasibility
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value propositions
- Provide client feedback to product and delivery teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in HR systems, SaaS, or E-Commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development, digital solutions, or cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of closing mid to large-scale B2B deals.
- Experience selling to Egyptian enterprises; regional & GCC market.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in CRM systems.
- Very good in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is a MUST
