We are looking for experienced Fractional CTOs based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to improve large AI systems.
Your Role Is Practical And High Impact. You Will
- Review and refine AI generated responses related to technology strategy, architecture and scaling
- Evaluate outputs for technical soundness, feasibility and real world execution risk
- Draft complex technical scenarios such as platform scaling, cloud architecture decisions, build versus buy trade offs, security architecture, technical debt management or digital transformation
- Create variations of the same scenario from different stakeholder perspectives such as CTO, CEO, product leader, engineering manager or board member
- Identify weaknesses in system design logic, architectural assumptions, roadmap prioritisation or delivery risk
In Simple Terms
You will assess and improve AI generated content to ensure it reflects real world CTO level thinking, technical depth and execution awareness.
This is not hands on engineering work. Instead of building or managing one company’s technology stack, you will help improve how AI systems understand and reason about technology leadership at scale.
Your input directly improves how AI performs on technology strategy and architectural decision making topics.
You Are
Who this is for
- A current or former Fractional CTO, CTO or senior technology leader
- Based in the EU or UK
- With significant experience leading engineering teams, defining technical strategy and scaling technology organisations
- Experienced in areas such as cloud infrastructure, software architecture, DevOps, cybersecurity, platform design, product technology alignment or enterprise systems
- Comfortable identifying unrealistic technical assumptions, architectural flaws and overlooked execution risks
- Available 8 to 20 hours per week
- Able to start in the coming weeks
This role is fully remote and flexible.
